Our new state-of-the-art school facility embodies Chingshin Academy’s belief in supporting students’ continuous development while still preserving their core values. We challenged celebrated designer Chris Yao to build one the finest school facilities in Taipei while maintaining three stories of the original ChingShin Elementary School. The iconic red bricks act as a reminder for students to always keep their roots close to heart. Finally, from multiple surveys, interviews, and research initiative, we created a haven that allows our students to fully evolve their mind, body, and spirits. Here are five reasons why: 

1. AN EXCELLENT LOCATION AND SETTING

Our school occupies a campus immersed in a bustling urban environment with easy access to beautiful river parks, bicycle, and hiking paths in its vicinity. Unbounded on all four sides, classrooms are bright, airy, and upper floors are graced with mountain views.   

2. ABUNDANT OPEN SPACES

We believe in open spaces and natural light. As technology dominates as the focus of social interaction, we cultivate students’ curiosity in their surroundings. Many of our educational spaces and playgrounds extended outdoors with open air porches, rooftop gardens, ballfields, and playgrounds to accommodate creative endeavors in all weather. 

3. TECHNOLOGY

We are fully on board with the constantly changing technological landscape. Most classrooms are digitized with up to date presentation and instructional technology. Our school design technology is also equipped with robust bandwidth and solid wireless connectivity. 

4. SPECIALIZED CLASSROOMS AND FACILITIES

All specialized science, arts, and technology classrooms carry high school standard equipment and facilities. We have six types of science labs, culinary kitchen, visual arts classroom, rock climbing wall, dance studio, Olympic sized pool, high ceiling gym, 300+ capacity auditorium, and a safety education center.

5. GREEN

We encourage students to think for tomorrow. Key aspects of our sustainability plan include water, food recycling, perpendicular shades/heat pumps to save energy, and T5 lighting which is 1.7 more efficient than normal fixtures.
