English Teachers

Chingshin Academy is a dynamic community that is dedicated to personal growth, academics, and is rooted in the values of honesty, love, compassion, and wisdom. Our school currently houses over two hundred faculty members and around three thousand students. As a community we firmly believe in developing the Total Child. Please note that we recruit year round but international applications are best made between March and April.

Preference is given to the following academic training:

(1) Native English speaker.
(2) At least 2 years of teaching experience working with children in a school setting.
(3) Experience teaching math, science, or social studies in English
(4) TEACHER’S LICENSE from an English-speaking country; OR
EDUCATION-related BA/MA DEGREE with a spousal visas or APRC; OR
TESOL certified with a spousal visas or APRC.
(5) Teachers with a Taiwanese passport with the above qualifications are also welcome.
*Mandarin speaking ability is not required

Substitute Teachers

Chingshin recruits qualified candidates year-round for substitute teaching positions. We require applicants to have a Bachelor’s degree and relevant teaching experience in an English speaking environment. If interested, please submit a letter of interest and resume to e0007@tea.chjhs.tp.edu.tw. Candidates should indicate availability and preferred grade levels. Please note that a valid ARC (Alien Resident Card) is required if the applicant is of non-ROC nationality.
