PRINCIPAL LETTER

Thank you for taking interest in Chingshin Academy, one of the most dynamic learning institutions in Asia. Over the past sixty-five years, our board of directors, leadership, and staff have created a sanctuary for children to learn effectively while pursuing their own interests. In this environment, many of our students have graduated to become global industry leaders, including fashion designers, engineers, and politicians!

Continuous development is the life force of our school. Human societies have been advancing at an exponential rate; it took two million years to enter the Stone Age and centuries more to master agriculture. More recently, the Information Age descended upon us in a mere decade and is already propelling towards the next phases of cloud computing, AI and big data. To keep pace, we are updating our curriculum in parallel. Besides our existing bilingual program, we have introduced STEAM courses, strengthened our outdoor experiential classes, and incorporated activity-based learning. At Chingshin Academy, innovation has never and will never stop.

Chingshin Academy is a place for children to realize their full human potential. While high test scores and competition medals are important to us, we also place heavy emphasis on teaching life skills and universal values so that students can navigate the complexities of our world with ease. Whether its problem solving, emotional intelligence, or adaptation skills, our promise is to equip children with tools to overcome challenges in life. We encourage our students to think, to plan, to ask questions, and to develop positive attitudes. Coupled with opportunities for real world application through internships, service, or projects, we want our students to embody optimism, resilience and become pillars of their communities.
